ADVISING SERVICES

My advising services consists of two major components: academic and career.  These services are vital to students curious about what they might learn in a specific academic program and I help students discover what type of work their academic program could lead to.

ACADEMIC ADVISING

Academic advising is one of the best resources for a person thinking about or one that is returning to the college classroom.  Academic advising is more than helping student select classes to enroll each semester, we build bridges to every resource a student will need to be successful in and out of the classroom.

My advising service provides intentional collaboration to help learners connect with their professors, campus leadership/staff, and meaningful career paths that will lead to fulfilling futures to name a few.

Academic Advisors connect students to resources, services and provide advice on academic programs and majors that are best suitable to the interest of the learner.

If you're struggling to figure out what career or academic path is right for you, then advising services is right for you.  Because of my experience with advising, I am able to interpret the curriculum of almost any institution to help you feel at ease with you or your loved one enrolling away at college.

CAREER ADVISING

In the 21st century there are millions of career options, job titles, and potential employment possibilities for people to select.  My career advising services will help any individual find their passion and greatest interest that coincides with past or future skills.

Careeer advising is very similar to academic advising.  As a career advisor I help individuals describe their job interests, sharpen interview skills, improve resume documents, and teach aspiring professionals how to write attractive cover letters.

My clients receive 100% support from me as we accomplish their goals.  I cannot guarantee employment, but I can assure my clients that they will be ready  for each opportunity.

As a career advisor, I take time to research career trajectories to show clients how their desired work will change overtime, I gather data on salaries, this helps clients negotiate for fairer starting wages, and I teach clients how to network within their organization.
